AFCC TWENTY-20 INVITATIONAL

KNOCK-OUT DISTRICT LEVEL CRICKET TOURNAMENT

(Conducted by Thanjavur Dist. Cricket Assn)

PROSPECTUS

1. a. Tournament will be T-20 Knockout basics.

    b. Each bowler can bowl 4 overs.

2. a. The Tournament shall be conducted by the AFCC Ground. The

         rules and fixtures shall be formed by the Tournament Committee.

    b, The Entrance Fees will be Rs. 2,000/- Per Team.

    c, The Matches will be conducted on MATTING Wickets.

3. The Tournament will be conducted from 23^rd April to 2^nd May 2013.

4. Hours of Play: Two matches on the same ground. Morning Match starts at 

    9.00 am and last match starts at 2.00 pm.

5. Tournament committee and umpires decision is final.

6. Teams should report at the ground Half-an-Hour before the scheduled time

    so as to facilitate the start of the match at the scheduled time.

7. Players should present with GENUINE UNIFORM.

8. If there is any interruption due to rain, bad light etc., the committee, will take decision.

9. INCASE MATCH TIED

a)     Winner will be decided by Super over Method or Ball Out.

b)    RULES FOR IF THE MATCH IS INTERRUPTED.

CONDITION 1

If the match is interrupted within 7.5 overs. (Or) Upto 7.5 overs.

·        There is no RE-MATCH.

·        Only Continuation of match will be played.

CONDITION 2

8 overs (or) After 8 overs if the match is interrupted at any stage.

·        TEAM B (Bat 2^nd Should Score Better Run-rate) Than TEAM A (Bat 1^st).

            Example:

                        If TEAM Batting 1^st Scored 120 Runs in 20 Overs (6 Runs per over),

                       TEAM Batting 2^nd should scored above 6 Runs per over (At any

                       over).

10. Teams should confirm their entry before 17^th April, 2013.

11. The Fixture will be sent before 21^st April, 2013.

12. Power Play – 6 (Six) Overs.

13. Restrictions on the placement of fieldsmen:

The Following fielding restriction shall apply:

The semi circles shall be drawn on the field of play. The semicircles shall have as their centre the middle stumps at either end of the pitch. The radius of each of semi circles shall be 30 yards. The semicircles shall be linked by two parallel straight lines drawn on the field. During the fielding restriction overs, only two fieldsmen shall be permitted outside the fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery.

Ø At the instant of delivery, there may not be more than 5 fieldsmen on the leg side.

Ø For the first 6 overs, only 2 fieldsmen are permitted to be outside the field restriction marking at the instant of delivery.

Ø For the remaining overs, only 4 fieldsmen are permitted to be outside the field restriction marking at the instant of delivery.

Ø In the event of an infringement of any of the above fielding restrictions, the square leg umpire shall call and signal “NO BALL”

14. Teams before tossing should give in writing the names of players. The playing

       eleven as well as the 12^th man with their signature.

15. The Tournament Committee will post the Umpires for the matches.
